  • Disadvantages:
    • Moving the welder more slowly than MIG.
    • A more skilled, experienced mastery is needed.
    • It is not perfect for high-volume production.

Selecting the Correct Welding Wire for a MIG or TIG

The choice of welding wire depends on the base materials and also the application.
